THE TWO QUEENS

Film is set in 1533. Shortly after Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn’s secret marriage, the Archbishop of Canterbury Thomas Cranmer has ruled Henry’s marriage to Catherine of Aragon illegal, as she had been married previously to the late Arthur, Prince of Wales. Anne is then publicly married to Henry and crowned Queen in Westminster Abbey. Despite having few friends in the courts, the people still love Catherine, but are very divided over Anne.

WHITE LATINA
Solo Performance
White Latina premiered in December 2018 and has since toured to different venues around London. The audiences' feedback has been a key element in improving the script. Nina Gabriela is a trained actor, who was suffering from the fact that she doesn't look like the typical Latin American. After some consideration, she decided to write about herself and her family. Now White Latina is not only a live theatre performance but also an online show.

Since school, I have been a passionate dancer. I am trained in salsa, latin, contemporary, club as well as other styles of dancing. I enjoy creating choreographies.

November 2018. I wrote a script about two friends trying to work together, but life gets in the way. It is was never finished, hope that one day it will.

October 2018. I wrote and produced my first short film. It is about the first time I moved England, back in 2013.

Devised Performance
For the whole of 2017 I taught Theatre in English to a group of students. Age range 16 to 42 years old. At the end of the year I wrote an immersive performance with them and we toured it around Lima in 2018. BN
