ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Nina Gabriela a Peruvian-Venezuelan-British-German film and theatre-maker who loves telling stories that bring people together across cultures. I wear many hats: actor, workshop leader, storyteller, video editor, director, and singer-songwriter. I blend my diverse background into everything I create, crafting immersive and meaningful experiences for all ages.

I’m a big fan of travel and learning – I spent 10 years in the UK, a year in Spain, and even studied yoga in India. In 2021, I had the incredible experience of performing live with a Swahili band in Africa! Fluent in English, Spanish, and German, I bring a global perspective to my work, whether I’m directing, writing, leading a workshop or producing. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Performance and LAMDA diplomas in Acting, and my foundation in performance guides my creativity in film and beyond.

I’m always hands-on with my work, whether it’s self-shooting or editing my own content on Premiere Pro. Over the years, I’ve directed performers of all ages, from 3 to 50, adapting my approach to create engaging and impactful performances.

Alongside filmmaking, I’m also a freelance copywriter, workshop leader, and script developer, often diving into topics like stereotypes, travel, and culture. I’m passionate about helping audiences see the world from new perspectives through storytelling.  I’m currently starting a YouTube channel for kids, where I share stories with real meaning.

I truly believe in the power of stories to connect, inspire, and spark change, and I’m always excited to explore new ways of telling them.
